Welcome to our website. I am State Farm Agent Guy Burnett. I have a great team, hand-picked to serve you. My greatest business asset is the team I have assembled to take care of our policy holders and friends. Our service is something I am very proud of and our highest priority. Whether you are a commuter, business owner, retired or just live and work in our wonderful High Desert, you deserve great service and questions answered in a timely fashion.

Life before State Farm, I had several businesses over the years. One was a general contracting business where we mostly framed custom home throughout our community. That is why State Farm hired me in 1998, to help settle homeowner claims. I was a in claims for 3 1⁄2 year before I started my own Agency in December of 2001. It truly has been an amazing ride and I thank God and my Lord Jesus Christ for any success I have attained.

A little about me:

I am a long-time resident of Apple Valley, California. I moved to the desert in 1983 from Texas. Soon after, I met my beautiful wife, Kimberly. The Air Force brought her family here in 1967, so yes, I married a hometown girl. Kimberly and I have been happily married almost 37 years. We raised 4 amazing children, who are grown and have families of their own. We have 6 grand kids... Wow! They are truly our treasures. They have captured Nana’s and Papa’s hearts for sure.

Kimberly and I have spent time traveling the western United States on our 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle. We have traveled Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and almost all of California. We also love to off-road in our 4WD Sahara. We traipse around Mojave Desert, Death Valley and the Sierra Mountains, what a wonderful experience. Hiking is another passion for me. You can catch me hiking Bell Mountain Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at sunrise. You can see some of our adventures on our Facebook and Instagram sites.

I have supported our community in several ways. I wanted to give back to the community that has help feed my family for over 20 years. I have sat on the Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce Board and the Yucca Loma Family Center Board at Yucca Loma Elementary school. I received an appointment to San Bernardino County Fairgrounds Board and served for over 10 years. And most recently, I served the Excelsior Charter School Board and the Excelsior Charter School Corona-Norco Board.

Now my community focus is on my local Church, Apple Valley Calvary Chapel. We have a great team of pastors where I have several volunteer opportunities. The greatest part is they let me play bass guitar a few times each month. I also play an acoustic guitar at a small home fellowship in Lucerne Valley. I praise God as I grow fonder of this community every day.
